About The Author Myra Lewin is an experienced
and contemporary spiritual guide and longtime teacher of
Yoga and Ayurveda. She travels widely and lives in Maui,
Hawaii.
Myra has put on her writers cap to share her wisdom,
offering guidance for a life of freedom and joy. Her book is
an insightful and helpful guide written with the simplicity
and straightforwardness that only deep personal experience
can reveal.
Myra has an MBA, is an ERYT500 with Yoga Alliance and
certified by International Yoga Studies 500 hour training.
She conducts a registered school for teacher training
emphasizing a harmonized approach to Yoga and Ayurveda.
Having practiced as a counselor in Ayurveda since 1999
and in her own life since 1995, Myra has focused on in-depth study with the top
practitioners in India and the US. She
previously had a distinctive business and executive management career.
Her extensive studies, dedication and hands-on experience
with Ayurvedic principles have given Myra intuitive
abilities to root out the cause of problems and to heal.
With an in-depth understanding of the holistic nature of the
human being, she has assisted many people to move away from
the path of destruction to fulfilled living. Integrating
Yoga and Ayurveda into her own life allowed her to overcome
the challenges of rheumatoid arthritis and leukemia.
Myra also works as a professional mediator and counsels a
broad range of students and clients, including seniors and
those recovering from addiction. An organic farmer and
creative cook, Myra creates delicious meals for retreat
guests and her recipes have been featured in local
magazines. Myra offers a complete approach for learning and
practicing Yoga and Ayurveda, including private
consultation, workshops, and retreats.
